Wooly, an Indigenous man who has a spirit helper named Elvis is sent to see a psychiatrist who privately believes all Indigenous people are schizophrenic. The story portrays the clash between a psychiatric establishment rooted in Colonial authoritative beliefs and Indigenous spirituality.
