Breath, Body & Voice
ElizaBeth with Akamba Women Singers, Kenya
Breath, Body and Voice is a workshop designed to address the varying effects our life experiences have upon our bodies, and in turn our voices. Whether a professional singer, speaker, or a person struggling with trauma or disease, this workshop supports the joyful expression of sound and movement.
An active workshop designed to promote wellness, provide vocal coaching and training, and relieve participants of stress through the practices of sound and movement.

— Workshop Participant
Conscious breathwork practices that release tension held in the body and open pathways for deeper vocal resonance.
Gentle movement and somatic awareness exercises that reconnect participants with their physical instrument.
Vocal coaching and training that supports joyful expression — from professional singers to those finding their voice for the first time.
As an interdisciplinary artist, ElizaBeth began combining visual and vocalizing sound art. Using some of the methods of Breath, Body & Voice she engaged in community arts, and Indigenous health and social organizations of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario.
Her first Indigenous Women's Circle of Voices project was fashioned slightly after Aboriginal Women's Voices of 1997 led by Sadie Buck, of which ElizaBeth was a participant — gathering women singers, creating new songs, and sharing the circle.
